The Neva Masquerade is the colourpointed equivalent of the
Siberian Longhair
cat. Although
naturally occurring in
Russia,
it differs in type from the Siberian cat recognised on the showbench and
is therefore maintained as a separate
breed and
not as a colour division of Siberian. It is currently bred in Russia and
the USA.
