Dermoid Sinus
Dermoid sinus is a congenital condition in
dogs.
It has been shown that the problem can be reduced with the use of
folic acid in the
bitch by administration a week before mating & continuing through the first
trimester of pregnancy. It is not a harmful product & is readily available at a
minimal cost from the local pharmacist.
Breeds known to be affected include
Rhodesian Ridgeback.
